Description
The author proposes mission in two levels:
1. Christians in the place of the Centurion and
2. Christians in the place of Jesus.
On the first level, the author observes that today, the Christians individually and collectively have stood in the place of the Centurion and confessed that Jesus is the Son of God not simply in words but in giving their lives.
In the second, he argues that in the present-day context, Christians must be ready to suffer, even to die in union with Christ, in their fight against social evils. Christians are not left alone because Christ has promised them his assistance till the end of time. He who commissioned the disciples to go int o the entire world, is the one who is going with them. Thus, the author’s biblical research has a missionary terminus.
