Description

It is of paramount importance that the Church, for her immediate and long-term future of priestly and religious formation, invests in an enormous amount of human and material resources. Yet,there remain concerns: How adequate are the formation programs we create for candidates to grow in inner freedom and to internalize the values and ideals of priesthood and religious life? Is the life and ministry of priests and religious in sync with the identity of a disciple of Christ? How integrated are the priests and religious of today spiritually, emotionally and psychologically with Christ and the Church, and what kind of priests and religious will this teeming vocation bring forth?
