Prayers for Children

Description

The prayers are arranged in five chapters (with rather meaningless titles, such as “Here I Am, God”). They are prayers of thanks, for food, for medial care, for forgiveness, for help and understanding. Some ask for universal harmony or the courage to go on after tragedy strikes. Original prayers, including one based on the book of Job (praising God despite the world’s tragedies), are bolstered by traditional prayers or psalms.
