The problem of violence is as old as the history of the human race, but it tends to become more pronounced at certain moments. The Association of Christian Philosophers of India (ACPI) thought it both important and urgent to make its contribution by reflecting on this issue at its 34th annual meeting held on 19-22 October 2009 at Anugraha, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Hence this book is the collection of the Papers presented at the seminar.​
