Whither India? Theological Responses

In the recent past, the secular, democratic, socialist, inter-cultural and inter-religious fabric of India has been increasingly under attack and threatened on all fronts. Day by day, well-engineered riots, terrorism, politically instigated sexual violence, harassment of minorities, lynching, abuse and attack of public institutions and an upsurge of crony capitalism with the nexus of religious fundamentalism keep on multiplying and endangering democratic living in our country.
